My best friend forever.
...My favorite part of the Sonic universe. That friendship. =]
Pardon all my updates, and feel free to leave them unheeded. I've been trying really hard to improve my art lately as well. I think I'll keep this comment short, hehe.
Done with a pen and colored pencils. Ignore all my inaccurasy.

Lol, odd seeing that dark green, normal green grass pattern the Sonic world has played out as normal grass, but with the same coloring, interesting concept... and well done picture too, I like the intense lighting.

It's understandable that you want to improve. Everyone does. ^^
But here's some tips
Since it's night time with the moon and all, the main colors for characters are usually darkened by the lack of light. But it becomes brighter where the light is being shone. This can go with the background also. BTW, don't forget that usually the sky becomes lighter towards the horizon. Think about how the sky becomes darker as it reaches into space.
You don't have to follow those points, but it's a suggestion.

I don't know what that has to do with anything, I just wanted to say it.
This is very sweet. The expressions are just perfect for the scene. You draw them together well, not in the way where they're a gay couple...eww. I hate that one. But you show the true relationship of these two.
