I got this sketch from Eliwood about two weeks ago,
and I did the lineart in about 3 hours with lots of corrections and such xD
then I flatcoloured it in GIMP, that took long enough as well xD
And then today, until just a few moments ago, i was shading.
This took me 10+ hours, and I like it

First off, i love how you did there eyes, im so jealous! Teach me how to do that!
i suggest the shadows more darker, so they are more visible!
Renini is standing under a light source, from above too, so there needs to be highlights were the light hits, such as the top of her head, ears, and arms. And theres not much highlights on Miley, and where there is, i dont think they were placed right, they would be towards the light! Same with Huski too, het highlights are not bright enough, i suggest in the future, looking out for the light sources and the brightness of high,lights!
I know this is short, im sorry ^^' but i could only crit the shading.
But i like this picture by loads, its so cute and adorable! ^^

I spent a number of hours drawing that on GIMP,
there are a few useful brushes in the program that make it easier to make a sand and water effect c:

But I'm always too lazy for a bg, so i'm always amazing how you and the others done it !

This is really cute Cosmo! (lemme know if you wanna be called Miley instead of your username) I love how you made the poses, they just look so correct, especially sitting down and arms crossed, I give you lots of props, I find those hard and annoying XD.
