Clay was the prankster of the band, being the one who loved to have fun the most. Despite his reputation, he actually wanted to be taken serious and grew tired of being viewed as "the fun one". He even joined a book club before BroZone split. Even in the past, Clay was much more serious than his image portrayed him as and was forward and cynical of John Dory's leadership. Why he may have been considered "the fun one", he was not the fun one by the end of BroZone.

Once away from the band, he finally is allowed to be the Troll he wanted, and has become much more serious. He spends his days help Viva run the Hole N' Fun , adhering to being a responsible manager of the other Putt Putt Trolls .
