It's a still picture of a story! These are my favorite kinds of works, you look at it and you get a sense of what's going on. To me, I get the impression that the viewer stumbled upon this creature walking through the woods and startled it off.

Well, perhaps you should try to explore the scene in a different angle (showing the deer in front or side view for example) because I think the level of details and colors are pretty good. As I can see by your other pieces, you developed a very interesting style on the use of colors, shading and perspective. I really don't think you can improve this without changing the whole visual idea you've created in this piece and in the previous ones you made. Congratulations again for this stunning job!
