this piece can be taken different ways, too, i think. one thought i had when i was doing this is how some artists put their work out there with too much copyright warnings. (i understand why they do, but it's kind of annoying, too.) another take might be that this wahine is kinda haunted/troubled and you'd be better warned not to mess with her . . . can be taken any number of ways, other than just some kept woman. but, that is the more obvious interpretation, i think.

'eh, mahalos, Chris!! the broken window stock kinda had that two-tone thing going on and i felt i should use it with the model, too. weaving her hair thru the frame was just a convenient way to integrate the two images, but it seemed to work well. nice hearing from you, bruddah.

mahalo, Rodney! i was kinda worried at first about the perspective, and preserved a layer with a smaller scale of the model. but, as it developed, i just liked it as is. glad it worked!
