Well, Sam changed the eyepatch during their early teen bean era. I mean the eye's not there anymore and it doesn't hurt them anymore so why waste gauze and bandaged it up again?

I think a while back i made one deviation where Tim apologizes (while crying) to Sam for being careless for not protecting them, causing Sam's eye got stolen from Anti.
Sam stated that its fine and even if it feels empty and (at the time) hurts, they'll try to get used to it from then on and by this point, they kind of get used to it and move on.
Sometimes when you lost something, you gotta let it go, move on and try to get used to it and when you do, a replacement doesn't feel matter anymore. That's pretty much how Sam feels about the whole one eye ordeal.
