I had a dream like that once. only a silver snake burst out of the heart, ate said heart, and then turned into a bad ass magic sword. the hero in my dream then took the sword and went outside (because all of this happened inside a evil castle) and proceeded to kill more monsters. it was awesome!

My mind took me somewhere else completely and for a moment I though he was going to eat the heart.
But, I'm glad he didn't. It gave us a cool bit of animation to see. It seems pretty clean! o uo This must have taken forever.
However, it was worth it. Seeing Herz move a bit and even hearing a voice come out of him and Nilla. Thank you for this piece.

hahaha thank you! I mean, who would mind extra comments - not me! I must confess I borrowed the idea of animations instead of pages from the homestuck webcomic u-u It took me about 2 months but only because I was really busy with university ;-;

And well, it's still a cool thing. Especially as a webcomic, utilizing the fact that it's on the internet and not in paper is cool, you couldn't really make something move in a comic magazine!ย
*Ckirean and I are working on a comic too at the moment (that's also gonna be a webcomic), and if I ever learn how to use flash(other than making things jump around, that's about how far my skills go) I might try it out myself. You get a lot of cool effects, like you can control the sounds, the pacing much better and put in music for atmosphereโฆ plus.. I've always imagined that seeing your characters MOVE for the first time must be special o_oย

I wish you both best of luck with your comic! Are you gonna both draw it? Or did you separate duties as in artist/writer? And yes, it's definitely super cool making your characters move LIKE IN A POORLY DRAWN ANIME! Although, to be honest, putting so much effort into it and previewing the same scene like 100 times makes it a bit less exciting at the end <

Thanks! Well I draw the comic, and ink it and everything, but together we work on the story, the concept, the characters and they also do the most important job in my eyes: Keep me motivated to draw it, and help me if I'm stuck by sketching some of the frames and stuff! So it's nice, I don't think I would be able to focus without them, and I always need to discuss the characters and the storyline!
And haha, I can imagine that you get bored of it in the end! But I can also imagine the satisfying feeling when you finally finish it, have a break from it and then look back at it all like "Wow.. I .. did it..." I get that feeling sometimes when working on comics. They are a pain in the ass at some stages, but then bam, pages are done and you have this tiny heap of papers to look at and you know YOU DID SOMETHING!!!ย
