Old old pic... 96 i guess. I just like it because of the type.. its actual press-type!! I love that stuff... I've got some laying around somewhere... I should dig it up and use it again. I think I was very influenced by E.H. Sheppard at this time... it shows in the linework. Or maybe I just hadn't gotten used to using a brush for inking... looks like i used a lot of dip pen on this one.Related content

you do like umbrellas alot dont you? hi^-^ i met you at AX this year(i was dressed up as link) and bought a gemeni (the spelling right or no? hmm) print. so shiney^-^ its hanging up on my wall now. anywho i love how you did the rain on this one it just feels so harsh. like i really wouldnt expect that from rain but i like it. shiney.

Somehow the fact that the wind snatching at her clothes and hair has no effect on the rain dropplets adds to the effect of the whole thing...
