Waddup I just got back from being sick as frick but I'm Oka-*cough*...Well, ALMOST okay.I made this for my profile picture but like...I don't like putting my own art as my profile picture because
1. It makes me look like a big show-off.
2. It's not what I pictured to have in my mind
But I do it because I was bothered by users who said I shouldn't take an image from a different artist as my profile picture and since I'm scared of violating a rule or getting someone mad I'd rather settle for something made by me. Also it's closer to what I wanted than if I would have searched for "Cute brown coffee bean jackal boy with blue shining eyes and hearts in the background artwork" on google images.

As for the icon thing, I hate my own art and would never want to shove it in everyones faces of the people who comment on my friend's arts and stuff.
For using someone elses art, it even is mentioned in Dviantarts Q&A that its oki to use someone elses art as your icon with their permission. ^^

Meh, I don't like it myself-
I used to take images from google, and of course it was good art so I had no way to contact the original artist for permission. But someone told me I shouldn't use other's art as an icon so I listened.
