Freddie Highmore, from August Rush.I'm trying here!
Gee, I must've redone his face how many times, and I'm still not happy with it. There's just.. something that I can't get to translate on paper! ARGH.
Oh, and yeah, he's holding a guitar in the ref picture, so that ^ is a guitar strap.

I know what you mean about that "something" you can't translate on paper.
I just finished doing a painting of him, and I'm really not pleased with it because I can't capture that "something"
But as far as I can tell, you've got it better than me hehe.
I think Freddie Highmore might just be one of those people who can't be recreated.
