not to be rude at all, but i've never really understood the concept of selling outfits.

Usually, outfit adopts are for when you want a new outfit for either an existing oc or for a new oc in the works. So instead of artists wanting to go all out when making new characters, they will make outfit adopts so that people can buy new outfits for their characters, if that makes an sense.
