Hey everybody! I've decided to make a little quick sketch for my friend Mavelle-Ealenyr who recently went abroad and is starting a new chapter in her life.
Altough I'm having some anoying hand tendon inflammation, and I should be resting, I wanted to dedicate to her a little drawing. I'll make a bigger piece when I'm better dear x). This is inspired in Sauska, the young warrior character created by Mavelle ( mavelle-ealenyr.deviantart.com… ).
I chose this character because in the author's story, even though she is young, she had to grow up very quickly due to the circunstances. I didn't give her any particular hairstyle or outfit, nor jewellery, it's just her, with her raw aura and powerful fiery hair, ready for a new start.
A clean start isn't for everyone Mavelle dear, but I know you'll do just fine

I really like her look, it's a completely new way of seeing her. The eyes to look into the viewer and you managed to made her look more mature, which is something I always have trouble making. And that shoulder shading is just perfect!
Thank you so much for the gift, you're making excellent progress in realism and I can't wait until you post more stuff (after your hand is better. Or post oldies too!)
