To answer your questions, the blue eyes was indeed a mistake. I guess when you're drawing the Chess Piece comic (where the blue eyes are NOT a mistake), drawing regular DP with blue eyes was a mistakable subconscious thing.

thats wicked^^....i think i did read in one of her pics that the eyes were coloured blue by mistake....but im not too sure....
