I rather enjoy the dejected manner she is affected with. Perhaps the picture is meant to depict the desire of humans to be good, or to be "Angels" but our ultimate feeling that we are only play-acting with little sincerity...
the struggle between desire and duty, between love and hate... Certainly makes me think.
