Description one of the most common talking points about those wanting only person-first language to be used when referring to disability is that people are more than their disability.
I prefer using both person-first and identity-first language, and here is a message to those people: I know

I know that I'm more than my disabilities, autism and ADHD included, but those disabilities make up a large part of my identity. It's what makes me, me. If you somehow made a not disabled clone of me, it wouldn't really be me. And that's why I use identity-first language.

To those still confused whether to use person-first, identity-first, or a combination of both languages; remember to ask the disabled person first :>
