I'm a big fan of the Ace Attorney Series, especially Miles Edgeworth Investigations (One of the best spin-offs ever for sure) so the totally awesome Kay Faraday had to be drawn eventually.

In this piece I tried out adding some texture (noticeable on the Scarf, Socks and Belt) by using a very faint burn tool with some of GIMP's more unusual brushes. Drawing the curls on her top by hand was far more satisfying than I thought, though the shoes took ages to even get near-right.
The pose is pretty much stolen from vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/a… but I changed it up with the smile and addition of the Yatagarasu's calling card.
