Thanks, but I don't buy figures anymore since I moved to Tokyo. I don't have anymore room for them especially since I don't live with my parents anymore (I took this picture 7 years ago when I was 14, I'm 21 now).

Like really small ones? Most likely. I have a couple more (this picture is so old, I actually don't own a lot of these figures anymore) that aren't pictured that are pretty close to that size. All the smaller ones I own are chibis (I don't know if they're non-chibi mini figures but I am guessing most likely). I don't really collect figures anymore due to the fact that I have no more room for them. I can't really say I know the most up to date information on these, I'm sorry ;3;

are these smaller models you have little over a inch tall? that's about the height of a 40k space marine and if i could find some substituent heads, i might be able to get a chibi to work.

OH that size! I am unsure. They sell nendroids which are small chibi figures. The problems with figures like that (big head, small body) is that often they fall over or have trouble balancing without a proper stand. I own a couple of nendroids and found even the stands they come with to be inadequate.

as for you own, have you considered getting some 40 or 60mm wargameing bases and just super gluing your models to them, and if they still fall over glue a nickle to the underside of the base?

Yea, I've tried, but most of my nendroids broke before I knew to do that. Plus it doesn't help I have two furry kitties who like to chew figures (another reason I don't buy new ones anymore).

All of my newer figures aren't nendroids and can stand pretty well, but again, I move around a lot (I go between Asia and N. America twice a year) so it's not worth it to buy figures I'll never be able to stay home with to guard from cats! The smaller figures are best in terms of sturdiness since they weigh less, I wish I had bought more smaller figures.

I started when my friend bought me my Sesshymaru figure (my most prized possession even though his head keeps falling off). From then on I just bought figures I thought were cool. My most expensive figure was probably my swiggy figure at about 80 dollars. My cheapest ones are my small naruto ones which were a little under 10 dollars.

Well like I said, just browse around amazon or the next closest convention and if you see something you really like, get it.

My first collecting hobby was spoons, I still collect them to this day. XDD I have like over 200 by now Hahaha! You just keep collecting for like... years and years. XDD So if you buy a figure like every other month you get about 6 a year and then in 3 years you will have 18. That is if you're slow/buying 60 dollar figures. Usually I buy a lot of small cheap figures on my own. Also don't forget x-mas and other holidays where you get free stuff. XDD About 1/3 of my figures are gifts from friends/family.

Oh just umm... Wow that's a good question. I heard a lot by word of mouth. My friends would be talking about them, there's also popular ones. Like Sakuracon, Otakon, AnimeNEXT, New York Anime Fest. Those are just the big name ones (NYAF not so much, but it's close to me so I know).

I'm sure you have IRL friends who go to cons/are con-aware so ask them? You can also google like "popular city near you, anime con". I know Brazil has some big name con, and other countries too... The biggest con on the east coast is probably Otakon, on the west coast it's Sakura con and some other cons in CA (so many).

Yea, I'm an uber huge Rukia fan. At the time, I had ever Rukia figure ever created. There's more now, I've just been broke.

Rukia is one of my favorite anime characters of all time so yea of course I need to have millions of figures of her XD

Kanaria from Rozen Maiden. I dislike her heavily, but I got a really really good deal on her figure, considering I got her like 2 days after it's release. It was only 15$ I think... It's usually like 25$ on the first week.

Ebay. I got a lot of my figures from Ebay. ^_^ He came with the Rukia figure in the white kimono.
