Believe it or not, we never even had Prom's we I was in school! We had "sock-hop's" at lunch time recess and that was about it for dances. We did have the Homecoming Dance after the big basketball game of the year, and that was it! We were pretty much like the town in Footloose, if you've ever seen that movie.

Oh I know that movie well!!I think small town
living would have been nice though,I grew up in ST.Louis City,
it was easy to get lost in the crowd.

Yes! She did! She tore the darn thing at the last minute! I was so afraid she was gonna go get another one and we'd have to paint the car or something! But, no! She had her grandma sew up the tear and it was barely noticeable. Thank Goodness for Grandma's!
They had a great night, into the wee hours of the morning, and were very safe. They were locked in, at a church with lots of adult chaperones, so, it was a very safe night for all involved.

They really are a sweet couple. Hated for my niece to grow up enough to start dating, but, couldn't of picked a better boy for her, if I'd picked him myself. He's really a good kid! And, everyone that we meet tells us how good of a boy he is, too. Even my dog groomer said "I wish my daughter was dating Austen! He's such a good kid! "
Yeah, she had the dress thing planned, I think! She's always had a "thing" about her clothes matching perfectly. Threw a horrible fit when she was 2 years old in Florida, in front of everyone. So embarrassing! How can a 2 yr old even know if her clothes match or not?! Threw herself on the floor, kicked and screamed! We all wanted to die. Or...just leave her there!
