Hi Allie!
Mom is doing pretty good, really. Thanks for asking. She seems to be feeling really well, most days, and trying to do a little more each day. What she has the most trouble with, is walking up little grades out in the yard. It seems to pull on the mesh that they put on the inside of her belly. But, the doctor said she would feel that "pull" for about a year. So, overall, I guess she's doing really well, compared to last time. She looks great! I'm very impressed! She's back to bossing me around and telling me I have to eat better, and all that kind of stuff, so, I'm happy! You know how mom's are....it doesn't matter how old their kids are...they're still "kids!"
Eddie and Patrick are getting along like "Brothers!" That should tell you how my house looks! They are a lot of fun! I really need to get busy and get some pictures up of them. They are just so fast, though. I can't get any that aren't blurry!

I don't know if these two ever "REST!" Not in the same area, anyway!
I'm really happy that my mom is doing so well, too! I was so worried about her having this surgery, but, it's turned out to be for the best. The hernia was about to rupture, and that could've been life threatening. So, she did what had to be done. It was scary, but, we made it through it, and now, things are starting to get better. FINALLY! It's been such a long road! She really deserves a break and a time to feel better and just be able to relax and feel good and enjoy her life for a change, instead of always worrying about her health. I think that time may be just ahead of us.
I can't imagine life without a pet, either. Just wouldn't be worth it!

These two are worse than a couple of kids, I think! But, so much fun! Patrick is really settling in, and so smart. He amazes me at the things he does that I've never seen a cat do before, only dogs. I haven't been around cats for years, other than my mom's, so, I'm having to re-learn about them, but, he's just not an ordinary cat. He has some dog in him, I think! My mom's cat doesn't do the things that he does! And, none of my other cats ever did the things that he does! He THROWS balls and plays with all of Eddie's toys just like a dog. He knows times of day. He will come and wait on his treats just like Eddie does. He knows where I keep the treats and he will sit by the drawer and wait for them. He's really a smart guy. None of my other cats ever picked up on stuff like that. Either they were really dumb or he's just really smart. Mom's cat has no interest in toys or treats. And, couldn't tell you what time of the day it is, other than dinner time. Patrick knows all times. My walk times, feeding times, nap times, everything! he's got it down to a fine art!

Patrick is a "water cat" too! I thought I had a leak in the bathroom. The other day, I caught him playing in the toilet! I've learned to keep the lid shut, now! He had both front arms in there and was really paddling away! Splashing so loud he couldn't even hear me calling his name! I got a picture of him, but, it's on my iPod, so, i don't know if it's good enough quality to post on here or not. His expression is priceless. He looks so innocent when he finally looked up at me. Like i was interrupting him, and he couldn't figure out why. I'm glad to know that I don't have a leak, anyway! Although, he's not real happy with me, since I've taken his "toy" away, by keeping the lid closed.
