I am actually pretty surprised Gearstuck is not a thing already! Or at least, if it is I haven't seen it.

This is not super steampunky at all; note lack of superfluous buckles, goggles, and gears. Also note the many many textures that purportedly make up for lazy/lack of coloring and background.

I don't know, it's just a doodle. IInspired by Shatterstag /Grimarious 's fabulous fantasy WIP Never Trust a Troll . More specifically, inspired by this line: “You know,” he says as one point, “I had a… friend. He was great at mechanics and engineering things.”

This makes me want to start a whole new line of steampunk homestuck pictures. Never mind the fact that I have about a billion WIPs, mostly for the ever-expanding T8L AU.

This is also the least amount of effort I've put into a picture in a long while! It took me maybe two hours from start to finish, cutting corners and texturing over mistakes the entire way. I was originally going to go the lineless route, but halfway through was like FUCK THAT let's go with what's comfortable and familiar.
