Oh god I have been playing monster hunter freedom unite for a while now and the Khezu was a tough bugger to slay but I managed in the end lolz.Anyway while I was gathering materials and mined the dead wyvern ontop of snowy mountain I got a Khezu whelp and this image popped in my mind so muhahaha!

the thing ontop of snowy mountain is daora skin, not a dead wyvern

from what i have researched, a khezu does not have the power ot kill other wyverns. maybe some of the lesser ones, but certainly not any realtively strong ones.
probably died of natural causes....... or a fatalis.

Sure they are in area 8 and where the dragon is there is a tunnel to get there and bring plenty of pick axe's and btw the welps bite so you may need to take some potions aswell

I understand why you thought so though. When I was kinda new to the series I even thought that Kut-Ku was a dragon. lol... for a moment I thought it was a dead monster as well until I unlocked the ecology video of Kusha back in mh2, then it all came into place.
