DekaGold, she only appears briefly (just a short second) in the Dekaranger Movie. Her transformation is cancelled by the attack of the badguys as soon as she tries to transform.

Yes I did. I loved Marigold in the movie. And since I decided to do the 7 main characters + Swan and Bright I thought I might as well do DekaGold ^^

Didn't DekaGold get shot dead like half a second after she finished her henshin?

MimicZeThird In reply to AvatarKiba [2008-06-13 01:11:05 +0000 UTC]
No she didn't die. But the shooting cancelled her Henshin. As a result we only see her a split second on screen.

I saw the clip of her getting shot, and it flashed to a church, then ended; I assumed it was a funeral. Is in there anymore afterwards?

Yes, Marigold (DekaGold civilian name) has a big role to play in the movie.

Oh yeah, doesn't she have some kind of dune buggy zord that turns into cannons for the megazord or something?

MimicZeThird In reply to AvatarKiba [2008-06-14 01:28:22 +0000 UTC]
It's not clear weather or not the Buggy is her PAT-Machine, Tetsu just says it was left on the Dekabase of the planet.
They say the Blast Buggy is a universal model, it can equip with every type of Dekamachine.

Just finished watching the movie. Not bad. Could use an English version, but we all know Disney would just butcher it to "protect" the American youth.
Why give the Power Rangers contract to Disney? Why not Nickelodeon? They need more action, and Disney just f*cks everything up! The only good Disney movies left are Sky High and The Incredibles, and only because they're superhero movies.

I loved Sky High and The Incredibles. And sure Disney as transformed a lot the original series. But I kinda like Dino Thunder and SPD. I liked Dino Thunder more than the Original Abaranger as a matter of fact. But maybe it was just the Jason David Frank factor ^^.
I wonder how they will transform Go-Onger next year.

Whatever they do, they'd better get rid of the freakin' talking zords or I am done with Power Rangers. Period. Even if they bring Tommy back again at some point...okay, that may be worth considering thinking about talking a look at.
SPD head writer Bruce Kalish wanted to do an almost-direct translation for the script (at least that's what I heard, then read on the Power Rangers Wiki). I've now officially seen only the Dekaranger movie, so I have no idea how true that is.
What I don't get is how Disney can start off the movie Bambi by killing the title character's mother, but "has" to change entire story lines for every Power Rangers series, and yes, I'm aware that Saban did that too, but at least they were cool about it.
If you want a good Power Rangers-based series of laughs, look up the Super Freakin' Parody Rangers series on YouTube.

I'll check the Super Freakin' Parody Rangers. Have you heard of the Might Moshin' Emo Ranger ?
Anyway, sure it's going to be weird having talking zord in the Go-Onger Adaptation. But Go-Onger is a pretty good series so far.

I've heard of them, but it just seems too down and depressing. I prefer stupid, off-the-wall, nonsensical comedy.
By the way, there's three movies for the Parody Rangers. They should be on the side menu, but the second and third movies are split into segments.

Eh, it's pretty good, still. They actually got some professional actors for parts 2 and 3, if you pay attention.

could you please tell me who they are?

DekaGold only appears in the movie : Dekaranger The Movie: Full Blast
DekaBright is Tetsu's (DekaBreak) boss and mentor from SPD's Tokkyou division. They are Elite rangers.

I wish Dekaranger The Movie would be made for english-speaking audiences...

You can find fansubs on the internet pretty easily.
And yes DekaBreak and DekaBright are ELITE, their henshin device, the BraceThrottle is a really powerful weapon. The Tokkyou division is, in a way, the equivalent of TokkΕ in the real world. Wikipedia link on TokkΕ : [link]
