(Patsumi 8yo, Mimiko 7yo, Daiki 11yo, Mamoru 36yo)

Team 5 with their very reluctant sensei, Mamoru Sarutobi. Kids look so happy though - as if the Kyuubi attack didn't even happen. They're proud and ready for the adventure. Too bad they didn't know yet what the world has in store for them.

I'm not really sure if I like how Mamoru came out. He still needs some work, I guess, but for now he'll do. He should be looking even more irritated though - there was a lot of shouting involved when he found out that his kids are being made genin in order to fill up the ranks depleted by Nine-Tails attack on the village. So he requested to be their sensei - and a parent rarely taught their own children - as a means to protect them.

The Third agreed - for one, the kids were still in a very tender age and two - it was keeping Mimiko's identity known only to the people of his choosing.
