I was thinking of something. Do you remember when M-21 was captured, sequestered by DAN with this monster of Shark who was waiting just a thing : interogate properly with torture this failure made by Dr Crombel. And Regis was thinking at first M-21 followed them because it was his acquaintances....

Wow! My thoughts are somewhat similar to yours, and I'm happy to know you also see this! Regis was evidently heartbroken when M-21 went away with DA-5 (btw, all those glances M-21 and Regis shared during this scene - and the scene itself - have such beautifully strong emotions... every time I reread this chapter, I think it looks totally romantic ). And even Frankenstein noticed that something serious must have happened if Regis allowed himself to behave in such inelegant way (slamming the door, stomping, being so nervous all the way!). And Seira confirmed it, remember? ^^ Regis was so cute there, blushed, embarrassed, confused, innocent little boy ^^ Regis might not understand the exact reason he felt himself so much depressed and hurt because of M-21, but he knew it was because of 'this man'. 'This man' was the reason of his deep distress, Regis admitted it to himself ^^ And he knew no rest while M-21 was absent, but he remembered about him each day. He was worrying (Frankenstein confirmed it!), sulking, thinking about M-21 ^^ And then - do you remember this moment in chapter 123? - at first he didn't use his full powers during the battle with Shark and Hammer, cauze he thought they there M-21's comrades ^^ (well, Regis, no matter how hard you tried to hide it, but this is a pure evidence of caring about M-21's feelings even then! ^____^ ) Aaaand! Of course he was relieved M-21 was alive, on his side, helping him during the battle... Kyaaaa! They're so cute, right? ^^ Haha! ^///^

Yeah, Regis couldn't tear his eyes off M-21. Though, he couldn't do it from the very first meeting in chapter 100 XD

What about fanfiction in English... Umm, unfortunately I couldn't find M-21/Regis fanfics in English language (and Anestes is the only one who writes such fics in Russian fandom). It looks like the pairing is entirely unpopular, it makes me completely, totally sad. *sighs* Anyway, sorry for my rambling ^^'

Hii! Sorry for not replying sooner ^^' I ached to write detailed answer, but didn't have access to my laptop at work. That's why I decided to do THIS today, when I'm at home and have my precious laptop at my disposal *crazy*
I see several fanfics in that language- (or was it just one person?)
Yeah, half of them are written by the same person. Another half was written by a few different people in the past years (2011-2013). Unfortunately, they're not in fandom anymore and don't write anything on the pairing. It seems to me that nowadays we are the only ones interested in M-21/Regis, and this makes me feel so lonely in this fandom XD Especially now, when Anestes doubts if she is still interested in 'Noblesse'. *sigh*

No, in those stories, M-21 isn't paired with anyone else. I am Tao- explores their camaraderie and is more of M-21centric. (warning: angst/hurt. Rated T for tough situations). Nice novella type story.
Foster Home SUPPOSEDLY is M-21xRegis but I haven't seen any romantic scenes yet. The author has assured me though, that more stuff will come. haha. They ARE cute situations between them. The writing is a bit off at times, but overall, I would keep reading just too see what happens. If that doesn't get you to read it, I have three words for you- Regis. M-21. sleepovers. *!!!*
