Description OMG you guys! This lineart was done december 2007 !!!! It's soooo old... So I guess if you have any critics, it would be awesome and I could try to fix it, but keep in mind that this sketch was done forever ago!

I started coloring it about a month ago I guess, working on it on and off .. I think I'm getting a lot better at shading skin, although, of course, I still have a lot to learn! I try something new every time I paint so that I can find my very own method ... I tried gradient map shading for the skin on this, it was fun but I think it has some limitations ... Anyway .. Hope you like it! Wo0t! waht a night .. two drawing that were unfinished for more than a month done and posted on the same night! wow!

woft, amazing colouring! as you say its an old drawing im not gonna comment too much on the anatomy, only that her right arm looks a bit crooked in the elbow, but yes, amazing colouring...you really get a feel for the different planes of her skin (especially around the boobies) and for some reason i really really like the way you've coloured the area around her nose. backlights are awesome and the hair looks incredibly detailed, nice one

Yeah I tried working with gradient map, so I did the shading in black and white, only to applied color by gradientmap afterward ... It was an interesting way to work and I had a lot of fun. I had some trouble with her hair, as I always do... I can't seem to find a way to do hair the way I would like... Glad you thing this work, I might give this technique another try

Thank you so much for your comment!

you did a great work!
but you are asking for a critique, so I'll give you an advice, while you are drawing it try to flip it horizontal to check the composition.
For example I think it would look better if the ponytail was more on her right side

You're right! Composition is a thing I struggle with! I focus so much on trying to be proportionate (in which I don't always succeed .. ¬.¬ that I tend to forget bout other stuff!

the flipping thing is a good advice! This sketch was old, but I could have fixed it if I noticed while inking in PhotoShop! (I have to learn that skecthes aren't finals and that I can change them haha)

Thank you so much!
