Professor Palo: Hello all and welcome to the lovely Somia region. Here, in this land, we live together with magical creatures known as pokemon. We battle with them, live with them and work closely with them in our day to day lives. At the age of 10 is it customary that a child recieve an egg that contains the starter of their choosing, thus building a bond of family and love between trainer and pokemon. So, I see today is the day for you to recieve one of your own!

What pokemon will you choose?

Flampok: The Pin Feather Pokemon

It holds a lot of pride in it's feathers upon it's head. If they are plucked or fall out it falls into a deep sadness that it will not recover from until new feathers grow in. They like to feel tall so it is not uncommon for them to sit on their trainer's heads or to get stuck on high places such as trees or lamp posts. They will groom their feathery down many times a day which always stays warm even pulled off it's body.

Cubble: The Cuddle Bear Pokemon

They are known for being exceedingly friendly, attaching themselves closely to their trainers. It is not unusual to see them hug other people or pokemon as it brings this pokemon comfort. When it gets along paticuarly well with someone they will share the berries and leaves it grows with them. A healthy cubble will produce sweet berries and the tea made from it's leaves are known to relieve stress.

Aviqa: The Water Baby Pokemon

It is not unusual to find a Aviqa drifting aimlessly on the ocean, inflating it's body with air to stay on the surface. They never wander to far from their pods, however, and it is advised that wild Aviqa are left alone less it cries out for it's pod and it's family becomes enraged. As far as studies have shown, this pokemon is completely blind but, somehow, is able to navigate without much issue. Scientists believe it is due to the strange formation on it's head.
