I'll be honest with you.
I base the emotional highs and impacts I get from art on the visual weight before anything else.
I'm 7000 watches deep and simply trying to "see" everything thoroughly.
Reading adds hours I don't normally have, but now...
I will go read.

oh dear.. i did not mean to be rude sorry i was just a bit surprised because this is one of my illustrations for the lovecraft ezine i am doing - uhm.. i am doing the illustrations for the ezine.... not the ezine as such... and i fully understand.. i have 3000 watches waiting for me and ugh.... you just cannot look at each and everyone in debth! so no hassle please .. if you have time to read it.. fine.. and if not.. fine too i am happy you like it that is the main thing

My fault for letting things get this far out of control.
It was right that you said something.

When I woke up this morning,
I found quite a few mistakes I made from hurrying so much:

1) I was praising one collaborating artist and not the other
2) Didn't realizing I was talking to a GROUP instead of a person
3) Gave credit to the right dude for the wrong thing...



It's a damn good thing you slowed me down.
Rushing around TOO much is as good as not really looking at all.
Pat, it was no problem to go back and look at everything.

thank you i am very happy that you like my work. i admire yours.. and a praise from you is a triple praise in my eyes!

as to rushing around.. i guess it happens to all of us. i am in a similar situation right now.. too many galleries of mine on the net. need to cut down.. centralize.. or focus more or whatever.. my style will always be chaotic.. from trad art to digital to photography.. that will not change.. but i need to bundle the stuff... keep it more together. at one time i thought i should separate these styles but what rubbish.. it is all ME.. part of me.. and it belongs together. so.... am cutting down.. checking out.. deleting.. uploading.. cut the crap ... and now the illustrations.. and this and that.... oh.. and i do have a life going on here too LOL.. but i know you know what i am talking about too

so lets say this.. i slowed you down.. and you in turn made me realize that i too should perhaps slow down a bit..



so we both learned a lesson.. or at least.. got a message accross? how cool is that

Yeah... due to many deviants announcing that they now have new art accounts
on other sites, and asking me to follow them,
of course I want to... so what do I do?

I start a new account at some strange site and put a banner across it that says
"UNDER CONSTRUCTION ~ otherwise, look under michellelynn725.deviantart.com/

...Aaaaaaaand never get back to it.

I have 5 accounts here on dA, so NO, I WON;T be going elsewhere if I'm at all sane.
In the last few weeks I've been pulling "best" pieces from those five other sites and posting them
under ML725 because I feel the way you do.

We're on the same page - no pun intended.
How odd and comforting.

Well, I'm still watching you and I ain't leavin' any time soon.

but 5 dA sites? you beat me there..... i have 2 .. and probably will give up the stock site.. i have quite enough with one BUT.. of course there is my SITE-blog.. facebook .. twitter...... oh and two zazzles... yeah yeah.. still cutting down.....
