Two pichu I adopted form for , originally the drawings where just for their Ref's, but then it turned into this X'3Due to a slight in joke about me and electric type characters, as well as because my friend -half jokingly- suggested it, I'm calling them Zip and Zap, which are still cute names X3

absolutely X3 and its always fun to draw multiple characters reacting to situations because of how varied their personalities are.
I like that you evened all the siblings out that way, there's always a rough houser/bully and princess in a family haha

it is really cute X3 I know quite a lot of the people I've seen making clutches just dump them all out without any care to details like that, it isnt as fun but I suppose thats just how it goes

Yeah sometimes it's normally to put up for adoption asap with hopes people like the design and what-not which does work, given they have more creativity on the mons personality. But granting them a personality from the day they hatched out of their eggs is what makes them 10x as special! My shiny pichu had no personality to her, but it was the expression she was given that caught my eye! So even without a basic description, I'm content with how they were drawn to get their personalities too

too true, sometimes its just the little bit of character a person puts in the clutch drawings that helps the new owner build up the character, Β so either is good, its just different ways of doing things
haha I saw her clutch and I have to agree, the princess personality works well. Knight and Princess eh?

I'm hoping to spoil her with all the levels once I get all my refs up and in <3 (I know it's gonna take a while to get them in, so it's why im going PRETTY slow paced)
It's why I tend to buy from clutches that has mons with a personality to them so they don't look boring and vague, maybe for the design sometimes. But that's a rare occasion....now I'm going for normals as of late because they get such unique personalities I just.....have to throw my points or get them for free, one or the other haha.
(For me I'm currently looking for a darumaka because I want to get a regular and some crosses of it, it's such an adorable baby ; A; but it's so rare cries)

well with the break you should be able to take your time getting them made, I know I plan to do some levelling during that time myself ^^ (I'm slow paced as well, I know for a fact that eventually I wont be able to keep up with refs X'D but I'll try to stay on top of it as much as I can right now)
right now I'm just trying to grab a few mon that are either my favourites from the games, or ones I see could make interesting cross's later. Really just getting a base group for my ranch. But I'll probably switch over to buying more from clutches with personality or very unique designs later.
aw man had I known that, I'm pretty sure a Darumaka was one of my options in the starter eggs lol I think I saw someone just put up a ref for a normal one recently, so if I spot any in clutches I'll let you know

I really should haha! All I have to do is just save them from photoshop, but goodness it takes 90 years just to save one file I could cry. (Though I don't regret buying the babies I bought, so worth the piling up haha > v > Lately I've been staying up to date with my babies too, drawing their refs as I go. I try to make their shading look nice too since we're on vacation in Nation LOL)
You can say I'm a sucker for such nice designs, and I kind of regret starting late on getting the mons I wanted that are normals. But it's fine since I have such lovely people to help me find them in a clutch to buy at a decent price ; v; (Since some people charge insane amounts! it's silly that i do level payment instead)
I recently bought a specific egg from someone so I have my cute little Darumaka now <3 i was so happy I almost cried LOL! Thank you for willing to help me out though! I actually want to get some of the uncommon mons too since there could be REALLY cool design. I don't even aim at the crosses sometimes when I see them in a cross, I usually whine when I don't see a regular of it pfft < v < I see myself oddly breeding for mons to name after my ocs in other groups, for example I'm gonna go breed for a shiny/morph eevee so I have my vaporeon! (It's going to be a morph so I don't draw that collar > ___ >;; )

I agree, this break is a good reason to add a little bit more to the drawings. I'm going to experiment with my drawing/shading style a bit and see if I cant make it look a little nicer, because so far I've just been doing things as quickly as I can
ah same here, I've got a handful of normals I'm going to be keeping my eye out for myself, so if I do spot any neat looking/interesting clutches with good prices I'll let you know ^^ (and you are right about how much some are charging for them, I've seen some normals nearly at 100 points, and there really wasn't anything unique about them, just your basic mon. )Β

Ah thats a pretty good idea, I believe I know what Vappy you're talking about too totally didn't stalk you're gallery at all (funny enough the darker of the pichu twins, personality and design wise is like one of my OC's X'3 when he was a pichu at least ) and finnaly someone else who has an issue with that collar! Β for some reason I end up drawing vaporeon the most, but that collar, interesting as it is, is a terror to draw at times (especially from the back) A morph Vappy without it would look really interesting I think

I want to see if I can develop a method where I can draw fast on the program I use most, since I shifted over to Photoshop now for nicer images. Going to Manga Studio 5 occasionally for nice lineart, since it looks really good there haha. I suppose develop a quick shading style too since when I paint it takes 90 years
Ah yes I can see the two of us slowly collecting sibling normal mons from the same clutch, like I do with a friend of mine (but with the specials, tends to be ironic too) I've seen one person where I bought a mincinno from and my gosh it's so adorable! It's like the pichu i gave you since it has a white spot around it's eye, I went and gave her an accessory too since it's a thing I do with my normal mons now haha. Just to add a little spice to their design yep yep.
You're too kind to me oh gosh I know so many nice people ; v; I'll definitely breed you a darumaka if you'd like one <3 my precious wasabi needs more of him running around LOL! It's a bit sad since you are able to "cull" the clutch, meaning sell the wants you want to sell and leave out the rest. Since that's the case with some clutches, I only do it when I don't have the energy to draw them out unfortunately : < (I'm a struggle with clutches, probably why I haven't bred in a while haha) I'm glad you got the normals you wanted though <3 I might have to snag one when it's up > 3 >.....we'll see though ;D
Uhuhuh yea I love him to death, even though he's a stinker to rp. It's still fun nonetheless ofc. And he has his moments of just being super adorable! I want to smoosh his face sometimes like a creep. Someone did do a morph/shiny Vappy without the collar though * v * (It's I think koi fish based too with it's patterns?) I'm just aiming to be a bit more plain and go with the default lavander colors as it's shiny and collarless, maybe have the fins be more cat-like since I started drawing his ears like an actual fox-cat thing

ah I see, I'm using Photoshop as well. I'll be trying to do things more line less rather than having such clear lineart on my drawings and do a little more blending for my shading. Have you ever used Paint Tool SAI?
Β yes I know I will be doing that for sure, I just got two normal siblings from the same clutch actually (Winter Deerling and my Honedge <3 ) aw thats really cute, I plan to add a few accessory's to my guys or atleast some small defining features as well

And thats fine by me, just let me know if you'd like one of them^^Β

Lately the weather has been getting better, or it's just me keeping the door open every day and night to let the air flow in. I'm not even sure I can hardy tell how my room feels anymore LOL!
Yes I have v u v! I use it for quick pace drawings, and sometimes half ass work if I need to catch a deadline. That's pretty much what my SAI is for haha. Though lately I've gotten more efficient with lineart in photoshop where I can do it quick if I need to! (Since if I want to do something quick I....don't clean it as much. > v>)
Eee Deerling is such an adorable pokemon! I had to keep the Skiddo/Deerling Morph my Charlotte produced. (It was hard for me to let her go ; __;''') I can say I made her the spring form since I wanted to draw Cherry blossoms since I'm in love with them haha. I can't wait to see these lovely siblings though!! It's unique too since it's an animal and inanimate object that are siblings.....Accessorizing normal mons just make them extra special to me <3 I can't wait to see what small features or accessories you grant them! (My starters didn't have one at first, but when I got their new refs up I immediately slapped on accessories since they were all briefly normal colors except for my togetic)
I'll have to admit, his name came from my favorite youtuber that calls his darumakas Wasabi! (It does have another alias which is Nugget too) And....I was going to name him Siracha if I didn't watch TheKingNappy's videos, also my reasoning for seriously wanting one since the animation in ORAS/XY is so adorable!! I died everytime I saw the little guy that I didn't care about his BA. They need to be running around more that I don't care how it happens (all the fire types need to have hot sauce name haha) I like those type of clutches, it's like a DYO practically since i think you can request small features? I never ordered one so I'm not too sure : < Ofc, ofc! I'll be awaiting for the group to reopen as school starts haha
It really is true, since I have an awkward red head that struggles with making friends. Yet he has some. (Well he sort of lost one since they died....the group's bot is saditic, really is) I'd be called a liar to say that I hated it's shiny! I love the lavander coloration so much! I remember the colors like it' nothing so I don't have to turn to the palettes I made for him c: (As you can tell, the way I do morphs is different since I cannot tolerate doing dots/stripes because I care about consistency as an ocd ordeal :c so I do them irl animal-body base since im pathetic....i struggle drawing my eevee/persian LOL)

I thought you might have, I started out using SAI for the same kind of quick stuff until my Photoshop died on me. I got to really love the program, and the way you shade reminds me of it quite a bit haha. (unfortunately my com died and took SAI with it, and I ended up getting a new Photoshop program when I replaced my com) ha ha, yeah Β thats what I've been doing in photoshop as well, I want to go back to drawing lineless I'm just being to lazy with actually doing it, lineart I find is just easier to cleanup. But regardless of that, I've been drawing more on paper lately anyway
thats why its nice to be able to draw and pick from you're own clutch, and Sawsbuck are just neat to draw (with skiddo/gogoat in there, thats an awesome idea for a cross) I also want to get a fall Deerling, given its my favorite season and I love Sawsbuck in any of its forms, but winter and fall are my personal favorites <3 Thats what I liked about them, they are so completely different that its cute, I had to get them together X3 I pan to give them each an accessory to help show they are siblings, and maybe (if it doesn't count as morph) change their markings slightly, the deerling having a swirl in the yellow band on her body and the honedge having a leaf or flower like mark connected to the swirl on the scarf.Β
hah nice, that might actually be why I thought the name was familiar for a darumaka (whats the youtuber?) I just saw someone upload a clutch of Darumaka crosses and fusions for auction, and I have to admit, they are a really cute mon. I never really payed them much attention when I played B/W because I wasn't a fan of their evo and at the time had a strong fire type in my party already. I've changed my mind now though X3 yeah those clutches give you a little more freedom with things, and that baby doesn't just disappear because the original owner wasn't sure if anyone would want them.
thats awesome, its always good to know you're character so well you dont even have to check colours X3 (just shows how much you like them) I get that as well, once a character has to many random markings like spots or stripes it can get annoying, I'm the same way and end up TRYING to match up as much as I can to the original drawings I made, but then things start taking too long to draw.Β
