Ethan could of just been his nickname while in all truth he was already a pokemon master, waiting for the right moment to strike because he came from the future by the use of the flex copasitor and knew that he had to stop New Bark Town from being blown up by the likes of Team Rocket because if he didn't the whole town would be dead and he would never be born and it would be Meet the Robinsons all over again.
