It's just way to say, it doesn't mean anything special. It's just that I'm really selective about what I like and why, and this drawing just touch me in the deep inside. Reminds me a little about myself and that spectacular, beautiful and colorful world inside my mind, and the dark, grim and lonely one that surround me.

Wonderful use of colours. I absolutely love how the girls hair flows with the water. The overall concept is pretty stunning too but is amazing because it's true. Music can create a powerful image and you've done a great job showing the personal connections and image that this song creates for this boy. The only things I'm not so fond of is that your male OC is reminiscent of Izaya from Durarara and you may want to watch for that because while I don't care, some people can be mean about things like that. Also, it might be easier to read your message and see the difference between reality and mental image in your art if you could see a bit more separation between the boy and the edge of the design surrounding the girl. Over all, great piece! Love it

The fact that he may remind you of another character is pure coincidence. And to be honest I have never had a problem with character similarity in the past (meaning this has never bothered me). He has black hair and fur on his jacket. These are the only resemblances between the two, their hairstyle is not the same, nor are their eyes, or etc. But I have found no matter how you draw any character, someone will always be reminded in similarities from other existing characters they see. This is not a problem, nor an issue, that's just how things work.
Thank you for the constructive criticism however, I will take your separation comment into consideration but my original intent was to blend it as if things were to become real around him, not separate it.

I'm going to assume you meant you "weren't trying to be insulting" instead of what you wrote "was trying to be insulting" lol.
And no worries, no offense taken. Fortunately character similarities don't really worry/concern me. Because no matter what/who you draw despite how related or unrelated they may appear, someone will always relate them to an existing character, and usually this is not in a negative way either.

Excellent artwork, and a very interesting way of portraying the idea of remembering experiences or relations as result of listening to music. I think this is something everyone probably does; and therefore most could probably relate to a piece of artwork like this. Nicely put together.

And well... just a random comment. When I used to have a loved one to remind with a particular song, I never thought about fishes or sea creatures xD. I don't know, I suppose that I'm the typical girl that thinks about sunny days (be in love is funny, because actually I don't like sunny days xD) on the fields, butterflies, all kind of birds and etc.

I love how her hair becomes the water, and the way her skin appears to be made of sand. The realism if the creatures makes for an added artistic intelligence and though I have no idea what song he is listening to, I can hear it when I look at your piece. Your talent grows, Ven, and so does my admiration for your work.
I'll be purchasing a copy of this one. Please make a very large print. Like 16x20.
