My daughter made up this silly pirate scavenger hunt game last night so I surprised her with a pirate bento box this afternoon It's a little on the lighter side for food because this was her meal before gymnastics and don't want her feeling too full!

Left: Pirate flag (quesadilla square with nori/food color), dried fruit medley, pirate ship (baked potato slices/food color).

Right: Pirate (ham, nori, egg sheet), rice, slow-cooked ribs and sauce (underneath).

I owe two of my friends bento boxes and at least two more for my daughter (she always gets one for field trips no matter what) so maybe February won't be as bare as I thought.
