Description I wasn't really happy with my last picture of Virago, my Half-Elf Battlemind for D&D 4E LFR. I think it was the face I was mostly dis satisfied with, though I wasn't happy with the costume either. I did keep the heavy armor on the torso with light armor on the limbs which I think is more fitting with a character who has relatively little physical strength and relies on an instinctive level of psionic power to fight.

Characterization for a psionic character without a high Int is tricky for me but I settled on a method that uses her good stats to shape her behavior. She is a Con/Cha build. I figured that the high Con makes her the type who has a high threshold of pain, gives her a very fast metabolism, and makes her high energy like a small dog. The Charisma makes her confident and outgoing. And both go into giving her a healthy and attractive glow. Her lack of training in Bluff, Intimidate, or Insight mean that she is rather a nice and honest person who is baffled by anybody who would not take her for her word or try to take advantage of her goodwill. That being said, she is a stubborn willful person who is used to shaping reality with that will.

Green used to be my favorite color many years ago. Then I discovered it was hard to coordinate with other colors.

Yes. In high school we had a joke about the color green... But I like that particular shade

BTW, did you draw the map in the background?

I like it, the design of the chest piece and shoulder pads is pretty awesome. I also like the shield. Over all it's pretty solid. But I don't think you should draw the scales on the armor so large. Actually with the way you textured the mail you really don't need them at all, but if you must have them then you should reduce the size and maybe put them in dark areas where there is shading.

You're probably right about that.

Kidding, obviously. I can spot the subtle differences and even though I was perfectly content with the first design, this is an improvement. The armor looks more substantial, especially around the shoulders. Glad you kept the shield design.

Thanks. As I was messing around with the design I realized that there were already a lot of sharp corners in the design so I figured I'd try out a pointy shoulder pad design.

Thanks. The psionic characters I've done lately have forced me to try to design a lot of light field plate type armors that are form fitting (fortunately I can cheat a bit with my style).
