The pity is that the only type of romance she could accept due to her physiology - is blood.
By the way - "donor" sometimes even feels pleasure during this process. And she allways tries to hold herself from draining everything and killing her victim.

well i did read a comic called Rosario a Manga persay about a human boy who became half vampire becuase he fell in love with a true blooded one maybe she could try that
