"And then the world caught on fire; the blaze visible for thousands of miles far. The birds and animals housed in the nearby forest fled from the orange light, running frantically for their lives. Nothing but the loud crackling of the fire echoed through the silence; the air began to fill with smoke. there were no cries from the neighboring towns, nor the shrill whine from the fire trucks and ambulances. It was ALL silent.... Everyone was dead...
The burning pain left my shaking hands as my stare fell to them. My mouth hung open in a stupid awe struck look. The sick feeling in my stomach grew, as my heart beat heavily in my chest. And as i stared at my hot once blazing hands, then into the angry flames eating away at the earth, i couldn't help but feel that this was all my fault."
