What does it mean to be considered wealthy? The term of wealth has many different definitions and explanations depending on who one asks or what they decide for themselves. Is it the knowledge they carry on various subjects? The true intentions that seek to make the world a better place? Or perhaps a more stereotypical lens of viewing at it; how much money and abundance of priceless material that they may possess through various means, whether that be through honest work or shady dealings.

It’s true that money makes the world go round, just look at how society is structured these days? Any and all one could think of and more require some sort of monetary exchange in order to happen. To some, money is nothing more than a minor thing, a drop in the bucket of vast wealth. For those less fortunate however, it’s a struggle, a constant reminder of their circumstances looming over them.

It’s why others get fed up with the system that has been put into place, why they have to struggle and barely be able to survive even living while the ones at the top, the ones who can literally be born into wealth without ever having to worry about whether or not they’ll have enough food to survive for another week, let alone another day.

Luka Millfy was born into poverty, practically raised in given how ravaged and utterly devastated her childhood growing up was. As she grew older, with no change in sight for the same system that failed her, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Using her natural spunk and beauty to charm whatever rich sucker she came upon, as well as her cunning slight of hand and dominant persona, she had decided to take upon the means of sustaining herself by stealing from the rich and giving out to the poor, the same people who grew up in environments as she once did so long ago.

Now however she wanted something bigger, something grander even. Forget simple pickpocketing, she wanted to basically swindle someone out of an entire mansion and their vast fortune in order to make it an orphanage and refuge for all of those who had suffered the same fate under the unjust hand of poverty itself. A place where folks could grow up safe, secure, without having to sleep under the same bridges or abandoned alleyways every night, where they could be fed and full to their hearts’ content.

With her spying her eye at a recent job opening for a maid position being sent out to the public from a rather wealthy and high profile aristocrat, perhaps this may be Luka’s chance after all to pull off her skills for one last caper. Of course what she didn’t know however is that the position itself could always use a…..more permanent sense of employment.
