War rages on! As the threat of the Separatist menace looms over the galaxy, multiple Jedi and their clone squadrons are spread thin across the galaxy, unaware of the maniacal machinations that reign supreme behind the scenes.It wasn’t normal for Ahsoka to usually have days off, especially in the midst of the war and her Jedi training. However, her superiors insisted on her getting some Rest and Relaxation after numerous battles that have been fought back to back. Reluctantly, she took the offer, but only to get her elders to finally quit nagging. She had to admit, she didn’t mind the relaxation, even found it enjoyable in some areas. Anything beat being captured by Separatists or pirates. Even if she always preferred being at the the temple training or in her chambers meditating, she would sometimes wander the streets of Coruscant and visit a bar or two occasionally to catch a glimpse of the local scene.
Still, she had to be alert and always on her guard, even during her so-called, “vacation.” A Jedi must be focused and disciplined, keeping an eye out for danger and mischief lurking about at every corner....or perhaps, the mischief was keep an eye out on her...

Ahsoka had finally been granted a free day away from the pressures of war and galactic chaos....which was given to her despite her protests to continue fighting on the front lines. The fact that she was out here and not up in a star fighter or commanding troops on Boz Pity made her feel uneasy. It wasn’t that she didn’t like having a normal life from time to time, but this was a pivotal moment in her life! It was like missing something important! She was walking the streets and taking in the nightlife until she heard a nice young man approach her. She wasn’t used to the glamor like her master was, the show off, but it was still nice to be recognized. “Uh, yes.” She said nervously as she nodded smiling, “that would be me. And you are?”

“Brandon..” Ahsoka said with a smile, happy to see another young face around that she could potentially hang with. “Pleasure to meet ya, Brandon!” She said as she walked with him down the city streets, neon lights and space chips hovering about them as they chatted. “So tell me, what brings ya to the streets of Coruscant?” She asked, curious to see what he was up to

Hearing about his rough situation brought a pang of sorrow to ahsoka. She understood what it was like to grow up in a tough area, it was all she had known for most of her life, for the war even. Perhaps all he needed was a friend to count on. When asked about her own reason, she simply sighed and cocked her head to the busy street. “Even Jedi have to have personal lives, even if some of us don’t exactly ease into them so well at first.” She admitted, placing her hands in her pocket chuckling

“Honestly, that might be helpful.” She smiles as she looks around to places to eat, but then remembers that she had to be back before sundown. “Oh man, why now?!” She thinks to herself before turning to face you. “Look, I’d appreciate it, but I-“ before she had a chance to finish, her eyes glazed over as the mind trick prodded her mind slightly. Due to this, she nodded slightly while repeating your words In a dull tone, “I want to accept your offer-“ she shook her head and put a hand to it as she groaned a bit

“Yeah.” She said as she shook her head, sensing a force presence nearby. “I’m fine, just some tap of the head is all.” Where was it coming from? And why here and now? Ahsoka scanned the area with her eyes as she thought to herself, being a little more cautious as she nodded. “Something definitely came over me.” She agreed with him, “I just dunno what it was, but it was subtle.”

“It would appear that someone has.” Ahsoka said as she continued to look around, using the force to try and reach them but with no luck. Just as she was about speak, she heard her stomach growl and remembered, she hadn’t eaten much since she left the temple. Ahsoka sighed and and patted her stomach lightly, thinking on the idea as she nodded. “I suppose one bite can’t hurt.” She said

Ahsoka follows you as she took in the sight of food, the nice smell filling her nostrils up as she smiled at even thinking about eating some. She sat down across from you as she sighed and placed her hands on the table, “well I don’t know.” She says as she looks out the window. “If someone is after me, I should be heading back to the temple immediately to make sure no civilians or anyone of the like get harmed or caught in the crossfire.”

“Well, I figured since I was hungry, I may as well keep my strengths up.” She smiled at the droid who laid their food before them on the table. She turned her attention back to you as she continued to explain. “If there is someone among us, I need to blend in and make sure to keep an eye out. I decided to get food with you-“ she felt her eyes glaze over again as she couldn’t control the movements of her mouth, “because I find you very....handsome? Attractive?” She finished begrudgingly as she rubbed her temples, there it was again!!!

This was beginning to frustrate Ahsoka. She tried to reach out with the force again and ended with the same result as last time, nothing!!! “No, I feel like something is here.” She said firmly, looking around the small diner again as she scanned the area and sighed. “I felt it again, like a small push to mind; trying to mess with my thoughts.” She sighed as she ate some of her food, trying to think of how this could keep happening to her

“You’re telling me.” Ahsoka said as she continued eating her food, her eyes looking up from it occasionally to see if anyone walked into the diner. She mustn’t let herself get distracted by anything! Not the food, not the scenery, not this distractingly....handsome....guy? But, that would break the code, wouldn’t it? She couldn’t break the one doctrine she had grown her whole life spent in!!!.....and yet, here he was....a troubling paradox indeed. When she looked up, her eyes glazed once more as this time she didn’t look back down, staring into space for a few moments until he noticed her doing so

At this point, Ahsoka was considering that her day off was making her crazy. Random stares into space, headaches out of nowhere? Maybe there was no dark side interference and she was just tired? Being on the front lines of a war did have its side effects after all. “I’m not having much luck at all.” She admitted sighing, drumming her fingers on the table out of habit. “My mind scrambles enough to the point where I dunno if it’s even real!”

As Ahsoka brought a piece of food to her mouth, she paused for a moment and thought. “The code forbids me from forming attachments.....but it didn’t say anything about finding anyone nice or decent looking?” She took a quick glance around to make sure no Jedi personal were around, then took a look at you as she felt herself gulp and her cheeks burn red. “You’ve got to be kidding me...” she thought to herself as she put the food in her mouth

“Yep.” She replied quickly, the new thoughts caused by the mind trick now slowly forming in her head. She took a quick drink of water to pass off the lie, knowing full well that it wasn’t the food doing any of this. “God, Skyguy would kill me for this....or at least tease me!” She thought to herself. Her master wasn’t one for the rules, so she was thankful for that, but force forbid that Obi-Wan or Yoda ever find out!

“The truth...” she thinks to herself as she hums and nods. Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea? He wasn’t affiliated with the order, or any notable republic connection, thus no one would find out! Plus it can’t be all too bad, a young and cute Jedi with a- she shook her head as she took a deep breath again, the words spilling from her mouth before she had a chance to catch them fully. “Has anyone ever told you you’re cute?” She said before she clamped a hand over her mouth, eyes widened in shock and surprise

“God, if anyone from the order even felt that through the force.” She groans and places her head in her hands, knowing that she nearly jeopardized her commitment to the order that raised and cared for her. She was very surprised when he had mentioned that she was cute as well. “Wait,” she said as she rose her head from the table with a raised eyebrow, new to being called that. “You find me....cute?”
