These costumes are my babes.

In all honesty.

Real corn husk: cut, washed, dried, flattened,

hand braided raffia

hand crocheted shawl: from jute cord

hand woven shawl,

most of it is handsewn

and boy o boy, This costume is 250+ hrs of work. It is a handful. But i think they are my favorite costumes to date. The pumpkin heads and body are papermache, the enoch is 2 layers of papermache and expanding foam, carved and then a sack attached to it. yes those are burlap pants! the leaves are all hand painted and wrapped with embroidery flodd to give them a cute shine. My hat is hand made with crinoline and burlap, and a repurposed goodwill purse. I teadyed most of the fabric here, i learned macrame and crochet for this costume!!

We got an honorable mention, and dint win but man these costumes are one of a kind. I hope you guys like them xD
