Aside from the fact that this guy needs to resist all sorts of urges and temptations to raise his left arm laterally, the armor design and the rendering looks incredibly cool.

Not trying to be a know-it-all cuz i really have no idea what the artist was going for but usually Western Knights were armored whereas Scandinavian berserkers wore either no armor or only bearskins (hence the name "Ber" serker)to show that they did not fear being cut down but actually welcomed it if it pleased the gods.
Again I have no idea if that had anything to do with this I just love talking about Art, especially about knights and stuff...

Not a big fan of flashy fantasy flares but this is the right balance of subtlety and fantasy. I love it. He looks like a veritable beast of rock, wood and bone.

Everything about this is simply amazing. Love the realness of the face and the intricacy of the armor. I'm a fan of the more dull colors as well. It gives a nice mood to the piece. Great work.
