Once again, I'm doing Princess Tutu fan art to warm up for fanfiction writing this summer. I got a little bit carried away here, but no matter. I recommend full view, for once.

This isn't a specific scene from The Heart Within, but it somewhat captures the mood of the next few chapters in which Ahiru and Fakir are constantly reaching out for each other, pushing each other away, and trying to protect each other all at once. Fakir tries to reconcile his old memories of Ahiru with the new and to accept the changes in her while she tries to show him that she can 'fly' on her own.
