Wow! Why do I feel like this captures Stannis perfectly? He looks like a king, but has an air of uncertainty, probably with his lack of charisma and belovedness compared to his loud, laughing brothers. But I love the expression on his face. It's almost like he's thinking that he can prove everyone wrong. Very Stannis. Oh, and the shadows, glow, and color palette is incredibly gorgeous.

I'm not sure Stannis has an evil side,though is one of the most grudging character in the Asoiaf novels,we'll see in the upcoming A Dance for Dragons(whenever mr.Martin will decide to publish it lol)

I agree that Stannis isn't really evil but he's so uncompromising that this gives him a cold and unpleasant demeanour. He's inflexible and he does believe in justice but I fear he's being led astray by a certain red priestess.

the worst thing about mels I think is that she believes completely in her interpretation of her visions which is dangerous, if you look at other red priests like Thoros they accept they may be wrong but melisandre doesn't
