oH BY THE ANGEL HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS BANE CHRONICLE!! All the plot about James who from good, loving boy becomes a bad, rude guy is SPECTACULAR.
I can't wait to read TLH. I want to know more about James, Grace (THAT BITCH *coff coff*) and the others. How cute were Jem Tessa and Will in this BC??? and Magnus obviously. OMG.
ok now i'll stop fangirling and i'll be serious:

Grace doesn't look at James because she doesn't care about him at all. James is madly in love with her, but she doesn't want him although they're bond trough some kind of curse- no, DAMNATION. ( see the symbolic chain )
She wears a crown of thorns 'cause: 1) she is a BlackTHORN 2) i imagine her kinda like a cruel and beautiful queen, although she is Tatiana Blackthorn's weapon for her revenge , her "Sword" (and there we have the sword she holds) 3) her beauty, her "power", is also a comdamnation for her too. I like to believe that.
