You go to college right? Do you know what your art teacher's stance is on anime? I'm just curious because everybody at my school pretty much hates it. xD

I used to not do it for art assignments, but I recently discovered I could get away with it sometimes. Why do you suppose it has such a bad reputation? I personally think a lot of people don't study it enough to understand it and that it's judged really unfairly. There's many talented people who draw anime, so it really bothers me when others say that those who draw it are talentless. I don't see it as any less of an art form than cubism or anything else...I'm just curious about people's opinions. Especially those who know what they're doing. I really appreciate your answer. From my experience with asking amateurs, I always get the same stubborn, "teacher's out to get me" answers.
