he meassures 80cm and has been my hardest build yet. I built him in 160g-paper. the grand assembly made me cry. for real. I mean, it was HARD. I had to go with double sided strong tape on some parts because they just fell off otherwise. but I'm very pleased with the outcome and I'm really proud too.the hair proved harder than the face even, but I've put it together so you can all enjoy a perfect papercraft War! <3

He takes some time to do, but since it's mostly a lot of small papercrafts that you fit onto a large structure it actually is a pretty simple model. Well, ok, not simple, but not super hard. Except for the face and hair. Those were horrible. A hint for the hair, cut off the tabs and glue on new tabs, that way you can have bigger tabs than just one mm, and the paper will fit better together so you get more of a smooth hair going instead of having a bumpy piece of hair. And for the face, put the tabs on the other side of the model, the underside of the pieces instead of the top. That makes for a better looking model imo and is what Marquitech did as well if you follow his process on his blog about it.

I would feel like a thief. even though I've put in the work of building them someone else made the templates and I'd feel like I was stealing their time and efforts if I took money for my builds. it's just a hobby and hobbys should cost money, not make it.

that's what I'm aiming for! the feeling that I've ripped something into being out of my screen, rather than spent countless hours bent over small scraps of paper, listening to various books.
