Description The colours aren't weird here ... I thought they were at first but then I read the sign and it said "white lion" so I guess that explains it. Apparently they're uncommon in the wild and not a completely seperate species but simply an expression of a mutant recessive gene; and so they are not albinos either. As a result they have been selectively bred in zoos to procude the colour. I don't think this colour is an advantage for them though because they prey must be able to see them easier and hunters would be more attracted to them.
