i was walking in the park and wow... i saw... i saw a black squirlle oh my gosh black i mean all i have around here are grey and red squirllesi havent ever seen black squirlles well except for now...

its a greyone, i read somewhere that some of the babies turn out all black cuz of genetics... or something like that

there is something like the opposite of albino, the animals aren't white but black, maybe that's it?

Ha ha. Black squirlles rule the parks where I live. I saw my first one four years ago, now they seem to have taken over! They beat up the grey squirlles and birds. Yes, even the birds.

Brilliant photo! It's very cute! they are rather common in the woods of south Europe (e.g. in the Abbruzzo's National Park, central-south Italy)

yeah i guess that the red and the grey population of squrills are takeing over so the black squrilles and growing few in number
