Ah, yes, Valentines Day,A joyous occasion I would say!
A time for romantic swaying,
And a time for merriment playing.
Candies for my love?
I'm sure they will make you soar like a dove.
Maybe conjure up a passionate tune?
That would make my heart go boom.
How about a crimson stained rose?
Nah, not today folks.
Roses are being abused,
Withered, torn, and bruised.
They are mostly used for love-filled lies,
And also to constantly apologize.
Instead of saying, "I love you!",
They say, "Pfft, fuck you!"
Roses are overrated,
Outcast and outdated.
But I will tell you this:
Different flowers are more my fit.
That would be a key to my heart,
Hey, at least its a start!
The vibrant colors, especial ones of twilight,
Are always my one favorable delight.
Pink, purple, orange, and yellow,
This all combined makes me mellow.
For once I shall not complain,
For this will keep me sane.
I wish only for something astonishingly small,
Not something really big or tall!
A flower such as this will make my face glow,
So please, no roses, for they disrupt my flow.
I'm not being picky,
Nor selfish or greedy,
I'm only telling my truest honesty,
As this is my sweet serenity.
