Doom Knights, Vampire Lords of the Midnight Court, Defenders of Christendom, masters of Europa.

Flourishing under the shadow of the Midnight Court, the once enslaved people of Europa had been given back their autonomy from the rule of the Mithric Empire. The shackles of the bizarre outer deity and it’s lesser archons had been eroded away by millennia of corruption and deceit, by the time Attila-Nos had returned to the borders of the Empire, it was in a already fragile state, with the Eastern Half having by all metrics succeeded from the Western, having embraced a new faith, based on the teachings of the ancients from the times before the great collapse. Even within the Western Empire the spread of this at once persecuted faith had been growing and clawing its way in the human circles of the Mithric path. By the time Sagittarius Mithrius, the last Blessed of Mithra, it had all come crumbling down. “He was not but a boy, the Iron Halo that once adorned the melted craniums of the great Emperor couldn’t even muster as much as a warm surface anymore, Dread Lord Odoacer, let him go. There was no Iron Crown for the taking.” Thus marked the end of a millennia long empire, and the beginning of a new age, the age of the Midnight Court.

Overtime mankind learned from both the Mithric Empire and the Midnight Court, ways of administration and governance. Trade and commerce. Of Warfare and marshal prowess, culture and history. Art and faith. With the Lords of the Midnight Court taking an ever-increasing back seat, they allowed Mankind to run more and more of the Kingdoms and states, through the growth of the Old faith, the Vampire Lords saw great potential in it. As a tool for some, as a path for others, they were divided, and left it to Nosferatu to decide on the ultimate fate of the Christians in his domain. With a wave of his hand, he dismissed the Lords present, for his path was one of freedom, one of self discovery and self discipline. They all should see to it as they see fit, it is not for him to decide the dealings of Mankind, he would not be an Emperor of the Midnight Court. His detachment was used against him, when Malcador argued for the use and value of Demonic pacts in dealing with the degradation of the Vampire bloodlines. Nosferatu, was disgusted. They willingly gave up their freedom for power. Pathetic. Although never truly endorsing
