Description
The UP 4-8-4 Northern # 844 has just arrived in Rock Springs after the first day's leg of the long journey westward that will take her all the way up to Tacoma. This is her first long distance trip west since she Boiler Problems in 1999 at the Steam Days railroad festival. She has since had a complete overhaul, and a nice shiny coat of fresh paint!Related content

Perfect shot of 844. The angle gets everything you want to see of it from the Smokebox.. to the tender. Catching the shine off it on the engine itself is excellent. though the tender is sadly too 'shiny' along with the Road number on the cab.
Its completely in the middle of the frame.. nothing to really grab your eye other then the small bit of the Aux-Tender that poked into frame.
Overall this is one of the better shots of 844 on the site.. and one of the best close ups period of it.. Full stars all the way
