Description
A thunderstorm and a brief lucid moment.I wanted to do something quick without overworking the details. I will probably go back later to retouch the things that bother me, and end up with something completely different.
Photoshop 6.0. Airbrush. No reference used.

Very nice. I love the colors and the detail. Amazing work. The left eye-brow doesn't look as good as the right one though. And the bright light is obviously coming from the left, but all the hair on the left side isn't lighted up (the part closest to her face). But maybe that's just me. Good work.

good job for a quick work
it's a very static piece this time ... very symmetrical and centered ... it's not as dynamic as "indecision" for example ...
but this time you probably spent most time on shading and coloring ...
reflections on the eyes and the shading of her skin are working good together ...
skin looks quite "frozen" ... eyes and lips somehow look very dark - that pic just captures one single moment ... the time of one lighting ...
nice to look at, but it's not my favorite of your pics ... maybe i got more used to your "warmer" pieces

For a quick work, like you said, the eyes and the mouth are astonishing detailed. The touch of blue around the eyes is totally impressive. What needs a bit more of work before it's finished is the right ( the shaded ) side of her nose and perhaps the colours could be more intensive ( or was it your intention to let it look a bit "cold" because of the lightning? ). I can't await the result when it's finished, it will surely look great.

Very nice, reminds me of that old B/W show Night Gallery with Rod Serling. Very ethereal. I like the stray strands of hair, a good touch that makes it that much more human. You definitely have that thing they call talent.

the shading, the and the depth are great.. the EYES are amazing .. the only thing i'd clean up is the harder edged brush around the hair on the right side.. but besides that.. LEAVE IT.. the look of a painting rather than always realism is refreshing..

**wistful sigh** Some day, with practice, I want to be able to do stuff like this. I love her eyes and the shape of her lips.
And why can't my own eyebrows look like that? Even with plucking, I can't get them to look even half as good.

Oh minix, this is excellent.
Would it be really bad if i said this was my fav of all your work so far? The eyes, the eyebrows are amazing. The shadow is great - and i actually quite like that kinda of not finished completely look - ok i know i'm f'd up. This is great - if i could have a fav, fav so far this would be it.

Sigh... how could I not love this? It's a great work minix!!!!
The choice of colors is great, giving her an almost vampiric appearance.
The work on the eyes is wonderful, but eyebrows, chin and nose need some retouching. Also the lips are a bit too dark for my taste.
Hoping to see a finished version soon. If this one rocks, the finished one will be a blast!!
