Robert took a deep breath as he entered the gym in Cadbury City.
He had heard she had some tough fire pokemon and any one who defeat her with out a ground, water or rock type got something special as well as the badge.
He had to swap some of his pokemon at the pokemon centre before he gotten to the gym but he was sure it was a good for his team to win this badge.
Entering the gym he was surrounded by red fabric hanging around the whole hall way.
At the end of the hall it opened out into a battle field.
Mora was sat on the side lines as if waiting just for him to battle her.

The battle was fast a furious. more then once he had only just got the move in with dumb luck.

Romeo, his Bouffalant, had made a luck hit When Chandelure's Shadow Ball had no effect and he managed to use Revenge.
Sadly the long fight had taken it's toll and he was knocked out with a Fire punch by Darumaka after only landing 1 hit.
Darumaka was then up against Squirt,the butterfree.
It looked like a bad match up but a crit hit on Squirts Confusion knocked out Darumaka.
Combusken appeared in a blaze of fire and Squirt was scared of the fight.
One Flare Blitz and Squirt was gone.
Flicker,a Cyndaquil, managed to whittle Combusken down but was knocked out by a well timed peck.
Ponyta took over and a few good stomps took care of the rest.
Magcargo was strong, almost too strong for his team to handle.
Ponyta fell quickly followed by his back up Dun, the Dunsparce, though both managed to get his hp very low.
His last hope was a lower level pokemon he had only just caught.
Robert had only brought him along to watch the match and hadn't intended to use him.
As Scraggy walked out onto the field you could almost hear the Magcargo laughing,
It seemed to give an evil smile as it used yawn.
Scraggy smiled back running at Magcargo before doing a sliding leap into a low kick.
with the level difference, Robert had though the move wouldn't work and was about to throw in the towel before scraggy got hurt.
Something amazing happened As scraggy had watched his friends getting knocked out one by on his ability (Moxie) had kicked in and upped his attack.
Magcargo stood silent for a second and everyone in the room seemed to hold their breath waiting for the first pokemon to move.
Robert let out a breath as Magcargo's head fell forward.
Running to Scraggy he went to hug the little guy, who in all his excitement leapt into Roberts arms, promptly headbutting him.

The Battle was over, he had won and Little Scraggy had levelled up and learnt Headbutt, thought his leer had seemed to loose it's edge.

Collecting his badge and the razz berry he headed towards the pokemon centre to heal his pokemon.
